The Association for Women In Science (AWIS) – Gulf Coast chapter is one of the local chapters of the national AWIS. The focus of the organization is to provide equity for women in all fields of science. This collection contains organizational records, financial reports, fundraisers, publications and scholarship records. Items date from 1976 to 2002 with most of the material dating in the early and mid 1990s.
